It’s nice when something you believe in becomes almost cliché: going local.  And should we add, Michigan made? Yes!

Since our adventure began last fall we’ve often marveled that everything has fallen into place. And so much of that has been local, within what we affectionately call “the bubble”.  We’re not certain of the exact perimeter of the bubble but so far it includes Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo,  Tekonsha, Saugatuck and MANY points in between.  Bankers, neighbors, lawyers, house movers and tradesmen, stove restorers, antiques dealers.  There are so many layers to each of these.  Our conclusion:  Whether they’re from here or moved here, everyone wants to be here, including us.
