One year later we are finally in the home stretch of the restoration of our historic home and preparing to welcome guests to the Inn this summer. It has truly been a labor of love; hard labor and true love. The transformation from neglected eyesore to jewel of Saugatuck has been dramatic.

At the start of the restoration we came to realize that the structure was truly in its final days. Listing one foot to the back and eight inches to the south, it was buckling the attached coach house. Half of the first floor sill timbers were rotted or gone as well as the summer beams and most of the first and second floor joists and floors.
We could not have completed this incredible journey without the enthusiastic support of our family, friends, neighbors and the City of Saugatuck. Throughout this process we were humbled by the kind words of thanks and encouragement from all.
We hope to open up bookings our eight guest rooms for August and September in the next week, followed by July and hopefully June to follow as we get nearer to final completion. We will post updates on here and on Facebook…follow us!
