Spring is just around the corner…March 20th!  Celebrate the Vernal Equinox in Saugatuck, stay at our beautifully restored historic and luxurious bed and breakfast. Relax, enjoy great food and wine, repeat. March 16-April 30, 2018.

Friday evening start off your weekend with wine and hand crafted artisan cheeses from Evergreen Lane Creamery, http://www.evergreenlanefarm.com/ our local artisan creamery. Saturday, you will be treated to a truly gourmet breakfast starting with locally roasted coffee, fresh house baked goods, and breakfast like you never make at home prepared on our 1920s stove.

Saturday, enjoy two free wine tastings at Fenn Valley Winery https://www.fennvalley.com/ Discover how the milder winter temperatures of our micro climate along the West Michigan lakeshore allow grape growing leading to great Michigan wines. Enhance you weekend getaway by adding on a multi course wine and food pairing Winemakers Dinner at Fenn Valley ($75.00 per person) March 17-Around the World with the Winemaker – Ireland, OR April 14 – New Release Winemaker’s dinner.  Or enjoy a New Release Wine & Food Pairing tasting ($10.00 per person) at the vineyard April 21, 22 28 or 29, and enjoy six wines along with food selections that pair with the wine being served. The winemaking staff are on the floor with you to answer any questions you might have about the wines, the past vintage, or why the food pairing was chosen. Reservations are required for these events and they sell out fast. We’ll take care of booking this for you.

Saturday evening will feature a wine tasting at the inn with Mike Gustaitis, sommelier and owner of Saugatuck Wine Cellars https://winesellersofsaugatuck.com/sommelier/ Mike is an accomplished Advanced Sommelier with extensive knowledge of wine from all wine producing regions including Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain and the USA. As Sommelier/Wine Director at Les Nomades, Chicago’s world renowned French cuisine restaurant, Mike was in charge of their award-winning wine program.

Sunday morning enjoy another leisurely gourmet breakfast at the inn before heading back home. Don’t want to leave?
