September: We call it Adult Summer

September: We call it Adult Summer

The kids are back at school, it’s still beach weather, the nights are cooler, the days are warm: Adult Summer! a/k/a September. It’s another season in Saugatuck.

Ok, maybe its a micro-season. It’s the bridge between full on summer and fall, July/August and October. It’s the sweet spot of all micro-seasons.

The seventeen restaurants within walking distance are all open AND you can get a table before getting hangry.

Oval Beach is as stunning as always, and parking is plentiful and free. Lake Michigan is still warmish. The dunes are fit for a day of hiking, wandering, or spending the day painting.

We always celebrate the seasonal harvest at the inn and we look forward to sharing our love of food and wine with you this this season along with our local restaurants, farmers and vintners.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Jenn & Steve
